I’m a freelance software developer.
I take on websites, web apps, and mobile apps for iOS and Android. Everything below is live: client work, then apps of my own. Proof that I ship.
work/
Most of it is websites and the software behind them: marketing sites you can update yourself, online registration and payments, and integrations between systems that don’t want to talk to each other. I also build native mobile apps for iOS and Android, start to finish.
- site rebuilds
- The site you already have, rebuilt properly, so it loads fast, works on a phone, and you can update it yourself.
- new sites
- For a new business, or an old one that’s never had a real site. Built from scratch, not from a template.
- web apps
- Registration, booking, portals, dashboards. The software a business actually runs on.
- mobile apps
- Real native apps for iPhone and Android, not a website in a wrapper.
- ongoing care
- Someone to call when something breaks or needs changing. Fixes, updates, and small improvements as they come up.
If you have a project in mind, email jake@jakehaas.com. Two or three lines about it is plenty to start.

These three are one client: LINX, who runs summer day camps out of Wellesley, Massachusetts. I built the sites for the parent company and both camps.
apps/
My own apps, on the stores since 2010.

about/
I’ve been building software professionally since 2010. Along the way I’ve been a full-stack engineer, a backend systems administrator, and a solutions architect, plus a few other titles in between. Most of that was on staff; these days I freelance.
Having done all of those jobs, I’m comfortable owning a project end to end instead of just one slice of it. That’s usually why clients bring me in.
The apps on this site are my own, built on the side. If one gives you trouble, or you think of something it should do, email jake@jakehaas.com.
